| Bio | I have always had a love for words. I grew up spending my summers lavishly reading as a child, and periodically living with my grandparents in Romania, connecting to my native language and heritage. There, I dived into mathematics with my late grandfather, an experience that taught me the joy in the art of learning. In Canada, I studied the arts extensively; dancing recreationally and competitively for over 10 years, studying music through the Royal Conservatory of Music, teaching piano and music theory in my teens, travelling throughout Europe and other parts of the world, first writing poetry out of a sudden, insatiable desire while on my travels through Southeast Asia in 2019. Today, I’m enthralled by the creative writing process, and part of a vibrant writing community in Toronto, Canada. As a poet, novelist and essayist, I hope to publish collections in each of these areas someday. I have a few new projects already underway! |
