James Dewar

is a poet, freelance writer, editor, and creative writing instructor. Hidden Brook Press published his first book of poetry, The Garden in the Machine, in 2007. His poetry has also been published in several anthologies and journals, and he has performed on CBC radio, Rogers TV and many university radio stations. For six years he has produced and hosted Hot-Sauced Words Poetry Performances in Toronto. He offers poetry workshops throughout the year. He never apologizes for being a poet.
