I have been a professional writer all my adult life. I graduated from Ryerson University’s Journalism program. I was a reporter, editor, columnist, magazine, travel and outdoor writer. I won seven Ontario provincial awards and one national award. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and cruised from Florida to the Bahamas in my own 35-foot sailboat. When the first tracings of the plot for The Healer began to excite my mind, I twice went to Wales to research my novels. I found rich medieval history of the events of the Norman invasion and Welsh resistance in places like the Shrewsbury library. Four novels were the result. I live in Owen Sound, Ontario.
