Please note: All new applications for Professional designation must be approved by our Membership Committee.
You may be eligible to apply for Professional designation if you are, or have been, paid as a:
- book author
- short-story writer
- freelance writer
- newspaper writer
- scriptwriter
- translator
- technical writer
- creative writing instructor with publication credits
- any other kind of writer who has been published or produced and received payment for their work
