CAA NATIONAL EVENT – Special All Members’ Meeting for Membership Structure Review

For over 100 years, the Canadian Authors Association has been devoted to its mission of helping emerging and established writers in their author journey. Now we are taking that a step further by helping to lead Canadian authors into this next century.

As part of our Strategic Plan, we are rolling out a brand new, exciting community platform to connect all our writers, and offer us a place to offer courses and integrated events. We are also committing to a new and enhanced slate of programming across the coast and are forming a special programming committee to help drive this reinvigoration. To make this possible, we are proposing a overhaul our membership fee structure to make the organization more affordable, while also allowing members more choice in what they want to partake in. To be a part of the change, join us on on April 13 where all members will have the chance to vote on this new membership structure. The meeting will only last as long as is necessary to explain the new structure, answer any questions, and vote, so please set aside the time to attend this critical meeting.
