| Bio | Executive Coach by day; author/writer by night, or maybe the other way around. I have [self]published ten books so far: the latest, 'Alex' Choice' (2024), sequel to 'The Treasure of Stella Bay', a novel about a boy growing up in the 1960s in small town Ontario, published in 2021. Two on career management; one on management effectiveness ('The Dynamics of Managment' (2015)); and two memoirs about the family dogs ('The Maxim Chronicles' (2016) and its sequel, 'The Hallelujah Chorus' (2017). A novel about lost love ('Amitié' (2019); and a memoir about my journey through grief and transition ('Travels With Myself' (2020)). My autobiography, 'My Story, Mostly', was published in 2022. Ten years+ member of the CAA; principal architect of the 2021-26 CAA strategic plan; elected to Board of Directors in 2022, served as Treasurer, active member of the Executive Committee. By day I am the Principal in my own firm, AFS Consulting, in Ottawa. Canada. I spent the first twenty years of my career in industry in Human Resources Management, and the next twenty in consulting in organization and management effectiveness. Clearly narrative therapy, it may also prove therapeutic to the reader as well.
