A writing circle consists of a group of writers who are interested in sharing their drafts, and giving and receiving support and feedback.

The Toronto branch plans to launch several new writing/critiquing circles around the GTA. These will be safe environments where members of Canadian Authors – Toronto can meet to exchange drafts and receive peer critiques and encouragement.

The first group will meet at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) Regent Park. Any member of Canadian Authors – Toronto may join the group, up to a total of 10 members per group. We are also looking for members of the association to launch and moderate writing/critiquing circles in other parts of the GTA.
