Mary grew up in a farming community near Peterborough, Ontario. After graduating from Trent University, she relocated to Vancouver where she attained a Prof. Teaching Certificate from the University of B.C. and a M. Ed. from Western Washington University. Mary has worked as an educator in both Vancouver and Surrey, B.C. She has authored and presented workshops in Professional Development for elementary and secondary teachers throughout British Columbia. Mary’s book, The Peter Robinson Experiment, tells the story of her great-great grandparents’ extremely challenging experiences and hardships while living in Ireland and then journeying to Canada in 1825.
