Drawing from firsthand experience, Desmond will discuss how the details of criminal investigations—from procedure to human behavior—shape stories that connect with readers.

Through The Mike O’Shea Series, a gripping police procedural, Desmond brings the authenticity of detective work to life, rooted in real-world details. On the lighter side, A Pint of Trouble takes readers into the world of cozy mysteries, where a mildly Machiavellian amateur sleuth solves murders with humor and charm.
