An Evening with Helen Humphreys: 6:45 pm – 7:30 pm on September 23rd, 2020
Award-winning writer and former poet laureate of Kingston, Helen Humphreys brings her newest grand and beautiful experiment in fiction: Rabbit Foot Bill. Set in a small prairie town, and based on a real-life story, it explores the ways people seek inner peace when their world has been upended. With an abiding love for, and poetic attention to the natural setting, this time, the big sky and dusky fields of southern Saskatchewan, Helen delivers a riveting and compassionate tale. With artistic director Barbara Bell, Helen unravels the mystery and beauty of a unique story in an iconic Canadian setting. Co-presented by Kingston WritersFest and The Word on the Street Toronto.
