This workshop will cover how to make research meaningful to your work in setting, dialogue, plot, descriptions, characters, and more.

Susan will guide you through research avenues and strategies for making your work bulletproof. Learn how research can frame your arguments, provide rich anecdotes and impressive data so you can empirically crush the critics. This workshop will improve all your written work no matter the genre.

Please book your seat early as space is limited. To register for this workshop, call St. Catharines library at 905-688-6103, ext. 211, or email adchick55@gmail.com before February 10, 2019.

Author Bio

Susan D. Young, a professional researcher since 1990 with contribution publication credits for several biographical and historical printed works, as well as contributing research materials to BBC2 for its “The Secret History of Our Streets” series, is ready to demystify the research process and show you how to make it meaningful to your written works.

Parking: The library has underground parking, and an outdoor parking lot off Carlisle, all free on Saturdays. There is parking on the surrounding streets and a parking garage on Garden Park.
