Canadian Authors-Metro Vancouver: Writing Vancouver Noir with Sam Wiebe

What is noir? How does it relate to a postcard-picture city like Vancouver? Join author Sam Wiebe as he gives a brief reading from the Vancouver Noir anthology, and a talk centered around how crime fiction can deal with social issues.

The author of Invisible Dead, Cut You Down, and Last of the Independents, Sam Wiebe also edits Vancouver Noir. Wiebe was the 2016 Vancouver Public Library Writer in Residence. His debut novel won the Arthur Ellis Award and the Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, and was nominated for a Shamus Award.
