CAA MEMBER EVENT – Book Launch Party with James R.D. Hilton

Into the Known Universe: A Cosmic Love Story, Kinda is a humourous sci-fi adventure and the debut novel of James R.D. Hilton. It follows Stuart Bode, a low-level cog in the corporate machine who is offered the promotion of his dreams in exchange for tracking down a stolen freighter and retrieving its cargo. In an awkward twist, the “cargo” turns out to be his boss’ runaway wife, Janna. She wants to see the stars. He just wants his stapler to stop disappearing. Though their journey into the known universe is just beginning, it’s shaping up to be one hell of a ride.

James R.D. Hilton is an insurance broker by day and a science fiction writer . . . also by day. Because he knows next to nothing about the real world, he writes about outer space. And aliens. And robots. And spaceships. He is a member of the Canadian Authors Association, keeping the organization’s banner flying from the golden shores of his home province of Alberta.
