Alberta Branch Special General Meeting

The Special General Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the St. John’s Institute.

All members are requested to attend or provide a proxy to an eligible member who will attend the Special General Meeting. Teleconferencing will be made available for members unable to attend the Special General Meeting in person.

The Special General Meeting will be preceded by a facilitation session with an advisor from Alberta Culture & Tourism’s Community Development Unit held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The facilitation session will serve to gather member feedback & suggestions for reviewing programs and developing an updated strategic plan for the Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for members to contribute to future programming.

As required in Bylaw 9.3, the following items will be considered at this Special General Meeting;

• Board of Directors Elections

• Strategic Planning Discussion

• Programming

• Services

• Review of Society Bylaws
