I am a writer who lives on Bowen Island in British Columbia. I have published articles, short stories and poetry in literary magazines and anthologies (Room, Prairie Fire, University of Alberta Press) as well as in the Globe & Mail, the National Post, and the Hamilton Bay Observer. I studied creative writing at UBC and I was the editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent community newspaper for many years. My novel Nine Birds Singing was a finalist in the 2019 Whistler Independent Book awards. I am currently working on my second novel, Borderlands.
