C. A. Logan was raised in a Scottish immigrant family in Burlington, Ontario and has always written stories. Working in performance administration in Toronto led to writing articles and reviews for small art magazines, and monologues for local professional theatre. She is retired from the Arts Branch in the federal Department of Canadian Heritage. Academic credits include Journalism (Carleton University), History and French Cultural Studies (University of Toronto), Short Story Writing with Sarah Sheard and Playwriting with Carol Bolt (Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson). She is a Sherlockian through New York’s Adventuresses of Sherlock Holmes (ASH) and the Bootmakers of Toronto (M.Bt). Her other interests include genealogy, occultism, and theatre.
