Poet Cynthia Sharp presents on Zoom: Communing with Nature Poetry Writing Workshop

To enhance your writing experience, Cynthia Sharp invites you to bring a few mouthfuls of fruit, a stone, something fragrant like a flower or spice, a natural pinecone, a blade of grass, leaf or wild flower, something sweet like honey, something sour like a wedge of lime, and something with an interesting texture.

Poet Cynthia Sharp was the 2019 Writer in Residence for the City of Richmond, British Columbia. A member of the League of Canadian Poets and The Writers Union of Canada, Cynthia has had her work published and broadcast internationally in journals such as CV2, Friday’s Poems, Haiku Journal, Lantern Magazine and Untethered. Her work has also been used in classrooms in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. She is currently pursuing her MFA in creative writing on the beautiful west coast, inspired by renewal in nature.
