So what is Fanship? Fanship will be a new digital community for readers and writers who are united by a love of literature — a community where recommending great books has its rewards. Fanship will be a word-of-mouth e-book retailer where book lovers can recommend books to friends and family, and authors and publishers will have a direct line of sight into how this online buzz translates into sales. Authors will also be able to see how their readers’ e-book recommendations drive sales for their works.
