| Bio | From a young age, books and words captivated Dan. This passion led him to study journalism and to work as a journalist and freelance writer in his 20s. After attending law school and a decade in law firms, Dan rekindled his love for writing in 2022. A life-changing experience assisting refugees at the Ukrainian border following the 2022 Russian invasion sparked Dan's drive to launch a communications business and to publish his first book, Escape to Slovakia: Five Journeys from the Ukrainian Border.
