Registration for CanWrite! 2021 is now open!

This year, our writers’ conference will be a virtual event, and because the pandemic has had an impact on so many of us, we are slashing our rates to ensure that this professional development event is as affordable as possible. We are able to so this by simplifying our offerings and keeping costs to a minimum — including not having to pay for the event venue and food.

When you click on the above button, you will be directed to our secure payment website. You may pay by credit card or by cheque, but you need to complete the registration form to be registered and to see where to mail your cheque. Either way, HST will apply to your payment.


2021 Rates

CAA Members: $ 85 + HST = $96.05

Students*: $25 + HST = $ 28.25

Everyone Else: $ 100 + HST = $113.00


Post Conference Pitch Sessions: $40 + HST = $45.20

Post Conference Blue Pencil Sessions: $50 + HST = $56.50

Registration and payment for pitch and blue pencil sessions are now open. These are being scheduled on Saturday, September 25, 2021, on a first come, first served basis.

Note: These sessions are only available to conference registrants. If you have already registered for the conference, you can sign up and pay for one or both of these activities. If you haven’t registered for the conference yet, you can register and sign up for one or both of these at the same time. Spaces are limited, so don’t wait too long!
