Where can I find information about my membership (expiry, renewing, etc)?

All information in regards to your membership can be found under the Members Only area on the My Account page. You must be signed in.

How long is my membership good for?

All memberships are for one year and automatically renew annually.

I forgot to renew my membership, what can I do?

We will send you reminder emails, but if you do not renew your membership you still have the option of renewing. You can still log in to your account, but with limited access to renew your account.

Once logged into your account, go to the Join / Renew page and select the membership type to renew.

Can I renew my membership before it expires?

Yes, members can renew before the expiry date. You MUST be signed into your current account to renew properly. You may use the username or email address for your account to login. Once logged into your account, go to the Join / Renew page and select the membership type to renew.

How can I pay for my membership?

You may pay online securely with credit card. Your membership will automatically renew on an annual basis unless you cancel or advise us otherwise. You can contact the National Office at admin(@)canadianauthors.org if you need an alternative method of paying.

I am a new member and I paid for my membership but cannot access my account

After your payment is processed you will be emailed instructions to confirm and create your account on the CAA website. Please do not disregard this email. Please also check your Junk/SPAM folders if you do not see the email.

I forgot my account info or my login is not working

Your username for both your membership account and your Circle Community account is the email address you signed up with (or changed it to thereafter).

It is possible the password you have might be incorrect. You may use the Forgot Password feature to reset or Contact us directly.

How can I update my profile?

You may update your profile under the Members Only area on the My Account page or directly on the Edit Profile page.

My membership card is not showing

Only active members have access to the Membership Card and being able to print it.

I am having trouble printing my membership card

The membership card by default will print more than one size. Depending on the printer, you may need to make adjustments in the printer settings in how the page is printed. For example, using Landscape mode or larger printer paper.
