| Bio | I believe that most people make their greatest contribution and largest impact one person at a time, yet through my writing I hope to have a positive influence in a wider circle. In contrast to my working career as a graduate engineer and a chartered professional accountant, I am currently honoring a lifelong passion for literature. I have contributed short stories to six collaborative books produced with the purpose of raising funds for local charities. In my career as a tax professional I wrote letters which successfully persuaded readers to accept my perspective and allow my clients' claims, a very tailored and targeted form of non-fiction. I have completed two unpublished manuscripts, one semi-autobiographical and one slice of life ramble. Since 2020, I have focused my creative energy on researching, writing and currently revising a work of historical fiction, spanning the twentieth century to chronicle the lives of three women, facing the challenges of her time, as she aspires to realize her dreams. |
