| Bio | Hi, I’m originally from the UK, but have worked abroad in North Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East. I have always written stories and kept diaries, but never tried composing a novel. On retiring, I was able to devote myself full-time to writing. I now live in a small seaside city in BC, Canada. My first book, Drawn into Danger, set in Algeria, is a reflection of my time spent there. It is a fictional story, but the places are real. Time passes, and in later years, I started to reflect on what had been. Fiction gives you the freedom to explore different scenarios and allows the imagination to soar. I added a bisexual element because I feel that aspects of sex are left out of stories. Starship Malaysia, my second book, is a Young Adult Story set in Malaysia, another country where we lived and worked. It has a teen protagonist who befriends a group of Malaysian boys, and they become involved in trying to rescue a girl that has been kidnapped. I’m now working on a vampire fantasy story set in BC, Canada. The story begins with vampires stalking the corridors of local hospitals looking for victims and then takes us into the wilderness of northern BC for a finale with the children of Sasquatch. |
