Bio Frances Boyle is the author of three books of poetry, most recently Openwork and Limestone (Frontenac House 2022). She has also written Tower, a Rapunzel-infused novella (Fish Gotta Swim Editions 2018) and Seeking Shade, a short story collection (The Porcupine's Quill 2020) that was a finalist for both the Danuta Gleed Award and a ReLit Award and won The Miramichi Reader's Very Best! Award for story collections. Frances's poems and short fiction have been published in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, both in Canada and internationally. Originally from the prairies, Frances has long lived in Ottawa, where she is a past editorial board member of Arc Poetry Magazine, and currently reviews books for both Arc and Canthius feminism and literary arts magazine.
