Bio | I hold a BA, a BE, an M.A. in Contemporary American Poetry. I was selected for the Sage Hill Writing Experience Poetry with mentor Betsy Warland in 2001. I have earned credits toward an M.F.A. at Naropa University in 2013. More recently, in 2019 I was juried into the Vancouver Manuscript Intensive working with Elee Kraljii Gardiner on my nonfiction manuscript Walking the Streets of Blood about my first person experience of the Paris Attacks. My writing has appeared in various periodicals and on line magazines. My blog Expressions: HTTP://www.cheriehanson.com currently has 75,000 subscribers. |
