Bio | Pam Clark’s journey to writing her first novel, Kalyna, began with her family history in Edna-Star. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Pam has melded her love of history and storytelling into her career as an educator and was inspired to write the novel, Kalyna, as a celebration of the human spirit, the ability to forgive and the necessity to move forward in turbulent times. Pam has also written freelance for the magazines, ACUA Vitae, and Creatures All as well as the scholarly journal, Canadian Children. She has published a chapbook of her poetry through Loft 112 Long Lunch Reading Series and continues to share Kalyna at libraries, book clubs, school visits and workshops around the province. |
