Bio Edythe Anstey Hanen (Edye) is a writer living on Bowen Island, British Columbia. She studied novel writing at the University of British Columbia and was a writer and editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent community newspaper for 17 years.
Publications She has published articles, short stories and poetry in literary magazines as well as in the Globe & Mail, the National Post and the Hamilton Bay Observer. For the past four years she has been a regular contributor to MexConnect, an online travel magazine and has had prize-winning stories published in several magazines and four anthologies. Her first novel Nine Birds Singing will be published February 2018.
