Canadian Authors Student Membership will remain at $50/year. Students receive the Intermediate Membership type for this special rate. Only fulltime students are eligible and must provide verification before joining. To register a student account, email your verification to admin(at)canadianauthors.org and you will be sent a subscription link for the special rate. Join our lively community of Canadian Authors today to meet fellow writers from all across the country, enjoy members-only benefits such as promotional opportunities and entrance to our online community platform (a brand new networking opportunity for members), learn about the craft and business of writing, and oh, so much more. Whether you’re newly hit by the writing bug, or already a well established professional, our new membership tier system gives you more options and control over your own membership.
This new structure goes hand-in-hand with the launch of our Canadian Authors online community platform. These fees and terms are effective immediately for all new members (and those returning after an extended absence). For current members, this will go into effect upon renewal; you will be able to renew into your chosen membership category with the $25 off promotion when your membership comes due and until then you will have access to everything within the “Full Membership” category. All members will now have access to both their CAA membership and Circle accounts using the same username and password for both.
All memberships will now be purchased through the new subscription program using credit card payments and will automatically renew annually. Alternative payment options can be made available on a case-by-case basis by contacting the National Office at (877) 905-1921, Ext. 800, or admin(at)canadianauthors.org.
