| Bio | A mixed-blood woman, I'm a product of the fur trade descended from Mi’qmak, Algonquin and Onondaga ancestors (verified), who married my French Canadian ones. The family genealogist, I've learned a great deal by hanging out with my First Nations and Metis homies, and spent years studying history, anthropology and ethnohistory to learn what my ancestor’s lives were like, writing biographical stories and notes for my children and grandchildren in the family tree.
