Thomas Mauser has been interested in historical fiction since he was ten years old. He held various technical and management roles in his nearly forty-year career in the Information Technology (IT) industry in Canada before successfully transitioning to a second career as an English language teacher and tutor. Now retired, he is pursuing his passion for writing historical fiction. A former member of the Historical Fiction Writers Group (HFWG) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he spends his time travelling with his wife to Italy, England, Slovenia, and the United States, enjoying the great outdoors, reading historical fiction, and working on his next historical novel.
