Renewing your membership?
Thank you for your continuing support! This year marks a lot of changes for our association and we appreciate you being with us through the journey. We sincerely hope you relish our new benefits, reduced fees, and increased ability to network with your fellow writers. Always more to come, so stay tuned for even more as we head into the future together!
Note: For current members, these new fees and terms will go into effect upon renewal; you will be able to renew into your chosen membership category with the $25 off promotion when your membership comes due and until then you will have access to everything within the “Full Membership” category.
Security & Payment Methods
Please read this section to understand the changes to our payment process. All memberships will now be purchased through the new subscription program using credit card payments and will automatically renew to the same card upon your membership renewal date. Alternative payment options can be made available on a case-by-case basis by contacting the National Office. All members will now have access to both their CAA membership and Circle accounts using the same username and password for both.
Note that taxes will not be reflected in your cart total until after you have filled in all payment fields.
If you are already a registered Canadian Authors member with an activated Circle account, don’t be alarmed if your details are already filled in on the payment page; depending on your computer settings, your browser may have saved these details from a previous login.

Professional Designation
To apply for professional designation (a benefit of the Full and Intermediate Memberships), you need to join first if not already a member, and then send in the completed Application for Professional Designation along with the relevant support to admin(at)canadianauthors.org.
