In 2021 there are plenty of great reasons to write short fiction. From flash fiction to novelettes, the form has enjoyed a resurgence of popularity, and it’s a path to reach readers and connect with publishers. Writing short is a way to test-drive other genres, hone your craft, and stretch your creative muscles. KT will outline a few of the techniques she uses to generate, draft and revise her short fiction. She’ll also lead participants through a couple of writing exercises and discuss markets. Members and non-members welcome.
