On August 28 Muskoka Authors Association has the pleasure of a return visit from author and associate professor of creative writing,\u00a0Catherine Bush.\u00a0After producing five novels, including the widely acclaimed\u00a0Blaze Island<\/em> (2020), Catherine Bush has just published\u00a0Skin<\/em>, her first collection of stories. She\u2019ll talk about how she transitioned from novelist to short story writer, the appeal of the short story form versus the novel (and what she loves about each), how a story can be anything from flash fiction to novella, and provide some craft tips.<\/p>\n
