| Bio | Janice Barbour Moss is a former ballet dancer and teacher and business owner. Now retired, she lives by a lake near Calabogie, ON with her husband. Her quiet lifestyle has lead her to publishing two fiction novels and a children’s picture book. In 2022 she was commissioned by The School of Dance to write a poem for their “Hands of Time Project”, titled “Time Now.” She was nominated Author of the Year and “The Caged” was nominated for New Book of the Year for the 2023 Ottawa Awards. The first of her poems, "Her Chance To Dance" will appear in the Syncopation Literary Journal this Spring. She is working on her third novel and a collection of poems. |
