| Bio | Darcy Nybo developed a love for writing in Grade 2. She still has the first story she ever wrote. She also believes her writing skills have improved somewhat since then. Darcy has several awards for her short stories and for many years has made her living as a well-known freelance journalist. She was voted one of the best writers in the Okanagan three times. Today she is a sought-after editor, freelancer, writing coach and writing instructor. Darcy teaches creative writing and all its aspects at colleges and universities in British Columbia, Canada. She loves helping writers find their voice and navigate the world of writing. She runs two word-related companies: alwayswrite.ca and artisticwarrior.com. In her spare time, Darcy loves to spend time with her family, including her daughter and granddaughter. When she’s not doing that, you’ll find her near the water, puttering in her garden, painting, and of course, reading and writing. |
