Bio | Dr. Susan Minsos, author and retired coordinator of the Canadian Studies program at the University of Alberta, grew up in Brantford, Ontario, along the Grand River and in the heart of the Haldimand Tract. Minsos writes about a year in the lives of her great-great-grandparents, and the trouble the Six Nations Confederacy has with the Grand River Navigation Company. In her Sky Walker / Tehawenniharhos stories, she brings the history of mid-19th century Ontario to vivid life. The Mohawk Trilogy is a magnificent yarn with well researched historical touchpoints. |
