| Bio | After an exciting 20 year career in the world of public relations and advertising, working with major brands, Tracey Leigh Boriska finally decided to follow her childhood dream of writing a novel. Her decision to begin with a young adult story came from a shared love of fantasy fiction with her two teenage daughters. Many of the character traits for her protaganist Declan Flannery and the other strong, complex women in "What Thunder Brings" (August 2021) were inspired by them. In her spare time, Ms. Boriska enjoys yoga classes, reading a good book by the fire at her riverside cottage, the movies and travelling with her family to far away places. She lives in Burlington, Ontario with her husband Allan, and daughters Chandler and Carleigh. Still engaged in her role at a leading Canadian ad agency, she is currently writing the sequel to "What Thunder Brings", and is extremely excited to grow as an author. She is incredibly grateful for the chance to share her stories with young imaginitive minds around the world. |
