| Bio | I started writing stories from about grade 5. Then I got distracted by drumming, writing/co-writing/publishing songs, Social Work & then supervising a number of Community Support Programs such as Meals on Wheels. I recently started writing again after I retired. I have found that advancing age and a global pandemic are great motivators to write. |

| Contests | I won the "Name the Millennium Decade Contest" on writer/broadcaster Arthur Black's National CBC Radio Show in 1999. I called the millennium decade the ooos ( pron. ooze ). ( I called 2020 the double OOOs) Arthur Black broadcast a story I narrated about putting my licence plate sticker on in Dec. in Thunder Bay with my bare fingers & then exclaiming OOO which resulted in my name for the Millennium Decade. Arthur Black also played a song I co-wrote entitled "Making Music on Mercier" about a musicians flop house in Thunder Bay. |
