| Bio | I was born in Thompson, Manitoba, but raised from 6 months to 10 years old in small pulp and paper mill town in Northern New Brunswick. After that my home has been primarily in Southern Ontario, with the exception of a few years in Vancouver and Calgary working in construction. After 30 years as a carpenter/contractor and construction superintendent, my body forced me into an early retirement. I am fortunate to enjoy writing and have been able to turn it into a 2nd career. I recently published my first book, 'Able Hands' a fiction fantasy of a supernatural mystery/thriller published through a hybrid publishing company in Toronto, ON called, Iguana Books. They are currently completing a manuscript evaluation on my second book, which is a sequel, but I don't have a title yet. My life has been an amazing trek back and forth across Canada, including some fantastic adventures with equally fantastic people I've met along the way. I started writing about my life and these many trips and developed a love for writing just about anything from poetry to prose and short stories, ultimately leading to my first novel. I am just starting out in this wonderful world of writing and publishing. I've already met some truly incredible and fascinating people as a result. The never ending challenge of the never ending lessons of life are now integrated into my stories. I hope my work will find its way into your hands and heart. |
