| Bio | I am a proud Atlantic Canadian who has been a teacher for twenty-five years in three different continents. Having lived for thirteen years in the Middle East, married a South African and given birth to a son in Kuwait, I am influenced by a range of cultures and experiences. My Nova Scotian childhood, mixed with this multicultural perspective, create a unique voice in children's literature.
