|Bio||I have been writing since I was about 9 years old. On again, off again for over 40 years. In October 2018 I left my regular day job to write the story of my Great Grandmother and uncovering my family's Metis heritage. I was born in Saskatoon, grew up in the Cariboo-Chilcotin and live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. My work background is in Project Management and Coordination with non-profit organizations. My last job was the Adult Program and Outreach Coordinator at the Sechelt Library. I have taken writing workshops/courses with: Barry Mckinnon, Shelley Harrison Rae, Ivan Coyote, Jillian Jerome, and Mark Winston. I am in my infancy as a writer and look forward to the journey. It is with the support of my family and friends I find the nerve to keep going. I find inspiration from reading and studying the works of Richard Wagamese, Pierre Burton, and Anne Lamott. Swimming in the ocean in the summer, winter hikes, and the wonder of every day, spark joy for me.|
