Bio | Mellissa is passionate about words. After leaving her PhD studies in Ireland, she began working in Canadian federal politics then took a position in the private sector in Corporate Communications. Her passion for literature, literacy, and all things written brought her to a fulfilling career in literacy education where she focuses on at-risk youth. Mellissa writes to breathe and does so whenever she can find an available moment. Her favourite writing topics are Ireland and romance (because what Janeite isn't crazy for romance?). Her current writing activities include editing a completed manuscript and working on two others that battle for her attention. |
