Bio Paulette Dubé was two years old when she watched her third sister come into the world via the kitchen table. She has been hooked on magic, creation, and miracles ever since. Paulette has published several books — both poetry and prose — that have garnered a number of awards, including the Milton Acorn Memorial People’s Poetry Award (1994) and the CBC Alberta Anthology (1998). Talon, the Alberta Writers’ Guild Best Novel Award (2003), and the Starburst Award (2003). Her latest novel, Autant, celebrates the relationship between a Franco-Albertan community and bees. She lives in Jasper with her family, where she continues to write and learn.
