| Bio | Sherry Leclerc is a science fiction and fantasy fanatic who lives in magical realms where swords and sorcery, action and adventure, seers, shifters and sorcerers abound. A teacher and mom by day, and an avid reader and writer by night, Sherry has a B.A. in Language and Literature as well as a B.Ed. She also has a third dan black belt in Taekwondo, which comes in handy for writing realistic fight scenes. Born in a small town in Newfoundland, Sherry Leclerc has surrounded herself with books from a very young age. In their pages, she learned many new things and traveled to many new and exciting places. Her first memories of reading novels started with the Nancy Drew mysteries. In high school, she was introduced to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and became a lifelong fan. Sherry has read across many different genres in the years since. Her favorites are science fiction and fantasy, action and adventure, romance, mysteries and thrillers. Some of her favorite contemporary authors are J.K. Rowling, Sherrilyn Kenyon, J.R. Ward, Penny Reid, K.M. Weiland, James Butcher and Dan Brown, to name a few. |
