| Bio | I am a freelance writer and a certified copy editor. I write video scripts, speeches, and promotional materials for corporations and government departments. I also write short stories, and my work has been published in DESCANT magazine, a Writer’s Digest short story collection and the Blood Is Thicker anthology published by Iguana Books. I began my career shooting the rapids of the Ottawa River—with a video camera, that is. As a videographer for Wilderness Tours Whitewater Rafting I laughed a lot and slept little as I worked hard to create video memories of crashing sprays of whitewater. After that I worked for twelve years as a producer for Rogers TV in Ottawa with some of the brightest and most talented people I have ever met. These days, when I'm not writing, you can find me at the Ottawa Public Library where I work part-time in my happy place - in the company of books. |
