Bio Sharon is an award winning writer with a BA (Double Honours) in Visual Art and English Literature, a B.Ed. with a combined specialist in Visual Art and English and a M.Ed. in Curriculum Writing. She taught High School English and Art, and now works full time as a writer and painter. She began writing in high school for the local paper, and has published in newspapers, on line journals and international blogs. She writes fiction and non fiction and is a member of the Niagara Branch of the CAA and the NOTL Writer's Circle. Most recently, she has won the Muskoka Novel Marathon, the South Simcoe Arts Festival Short Story Award, the Phyllis Smallman Award for Great Storytelling, 2nd place in the Stratford Rotary Contest, was short listed for the Eden Mills Writers Festival and the NOWW Short Story contest.
