DESCRIPTION:Congratulations! After months (years?) of diligent effort\, you have finally completed your manuscript. You celebrate briefly before it sinks in—you have no idea what to do next. Should you hire an editor? Approach an agent? How do you find a publisher? What is hybrid publishing anyway? and how much is all of this going to cost? \nThis workshop will provide an overview of the publishing process and suggest a process to help authors navigate it successfully. Participants will leave with worksheets that will help them chart the path that is right for them. \n  \nLynn Duncan founded Vivalogue Publishing in 2010 with her business partner\, Kilmeny Denny\, to help self-published authors achieve creative and financial success. In 2016\, Vivalogue partnered with the Whistler Writing Society to produce the Whistler Independent Book awards\, now recognized as the premier self-publishing prize in Canada. Vivalogue moved into traditional publishing in 2017 with the formation of Tidewater Press.
