SUMMARY:Canadian Authors-Alberta: When a Mental Block Is More Than Just a Block
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nJust in time for the end of NaNoWriMo\, Lexie Hancock will be discussing mental health and when a block isn’t just a block\, the wrap up of writers’ favourite month\, why you shouldn’t plan (featuring some personal statistics and experiences from friends!). \nAuthor Bio\nLexie Hancock is a University of Windsor Forensics & Criminology alum\, currently studying in the Chemical Dependency Counselling Certificate program at St. Clair College. An avid volunteer\, she was active in the Best Buddies campus program at Windsor\, but her true passion is writing. A prolific participant in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and affiliated programs\, her dedication to writing has become an outlet for her to relieve the stresses of a permanent mental illness. \nLexie has written upwards of 50 novels since she started writing at the age of 14. Her first published novel\, The Wink Murderer\, was published by White Castle Publishing in 2017. \n\n\n\n\n
