SUMMARY:Canadian Authors-Alberta: What You Need to Na-Know: A NaNoWriMo Wrap-up and Survival Guide
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nSeasoned NaNoWriMo pro Lexie Hancock will be discussing a variety of topics\, including the development of characters\, the necessity of settings that feel natural and comfortable for the writer\, how to decide on a plot and a plot twist\, and how to decide when your novel is finally finished! \n* A rescheduled AGM will be held during the lunch hour. This workshop will be free.* \nAuthor Bio\nLexie Hancock is a University of Windsor Forensics & Criminology alum\, currently studying in the Chemical Dependency Counselling Certificate program at St. Clair College. An avid volunteer\, she was active in the Best Buddies campus program at Windsor\, but her true passion is writing. A prolific participant in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and affiliated programs\, her dedication to writing has become an outlet for her to relieve the stresses of a permanent mental illness. \nLexie has written upwards of 50 novels since she started writing at the age of 14. Her first published novel\, The Wink Murderer\, was published by White Castle Publishing in 2017. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
