In addition to events centred around children and young people\, the festival includes opportunities for adult writers of children’s literature to take part in pitch sessions and to develop their craft through in-person workshops with the festival’s incredible lineup of authors. \n  \n \n  \nNot So Different – This event is recommended for children 6+ \nIn this hilarious one-of-a-kind event\, disabled blogger\, children’s book author and Youtube star Shane Burcaw talks about his book Not So Different. This interactive event is designed to teach kids about spinal muscular atrophy and about all the ways Shane wants people to know he’s not so different after all. \nThis event will be recorded.
